Terra Bovingdon is a child and family therapist in private practice. Since 1999, Terra has worked primarily with foster and adoptive families in the areas of attachment, brain development, trauma, transitioning children, grief and loss, and therapeutic parenting. Terra has presented nationally and internationally on related topics to professionals and parents.

Terra has authored two children’s books: “The Unexpected Journey” and “Even the Small Stuff Changes”, written a chapter on relinquishment in Evangeline Munn’s Theraplay Techniques, and co-authored a research study on multimodal approaches to ADHD.

Terra has spent the majority of her career in Calgary, recently moving to the Toronto area with her husband and two teenage boys.
